Fans of The Lunchbox will absolutely adore this because that line about events not truly finishing happening until they are shared perfectly honors the quiet sanctuary Saajan and Ila built together..❤️🥹

Thank you, Priyanshu! I wish sometimes those two knew what a huge fan base they have ❤️

What I like about them is that there's no label on how they define this relationship, and that was my inspiration while writing. I had to be careful that there were no emotional giveaways.

You handled that balance brilliantly, Rabia..❤️ because leaving their relationship undefined lets the audience fully feel the weight of every single unwritten line between them.. May his soul rest in peace and we all definitely miss him..🥺

Just two days back I waa thinking about Lunchbox. It is a beautiful movie that has continued living with me and continues its journey, popping up now and then in your head along with other ordinary things in life. This note by Sajan made me smile like an idiot, its perfectly written, Rabia ❤️

I don’t know why I have watched this movie more than a few times and promised myself every time not to watch again. The ending feels so incomplete, it leaves a void in your heart. And yet the story feels very complete like what else did you think could happen?

Once after watching, I went down the rabbit hole of reading all reviews and discussions on the movie online. Most of them claimed and some even proved that this was the only right way to end it, because each character had completed their arc and there was nothing left unresolved. I hate these reviewers.

I feel you. The first time I watched the movie, I felt exactly the same about the ending.

But today, if you ask me, it feels more like a journey to some far‑off place, where the destination never mattered as much as the scenery along the way. That’s how life works too. I don’t know about happily‑ever‑afters, Rohit, but when the story is beautiful, how our life concludes stops being the point.
